We are in the mood for celebrations. However, for those in the One Zoned Region, we are in partial lockdown. For the rest in the other forty-two counties in Kenya, we are reeling from harsh economic times brought by the pandemic. So, you might be asking why we should be celebrating this day when the load is too heavy on our shoulders. What is the significance of all this to the Easter celebration?

The significance of Easter is Jesus Christ’s triumph over death. His resurrection means the eternal life that is granted to all who believe in Him. His resurrection rebuked all that and provided final and undeniable proof that He was really the Son of God and that He had overcome death once and for all.

So my dear parent, teacher, student and all that are reading this piece now remember to cast all your troubles to the Cross because indeed, Jesus will overcome death-the pandemic in His own time. Keep on believing and trusting in Him as you stay safe by washing your hands, maintaining social distance and wearing a mask because soon WE WILL OVERCOME THE PANDEMIC just like JESUS  DID OVER DEATH!
