SCHOOL PARTICIPATION IN THE 2025 KENYA MUSIC FESTIVAL

Our school successfully participated in this year’s Kenya Music Festival, showcasing talent across diverse categories and cultural expressions. The school presented several items at the regional level where eight items qualified to the National Level, These were:

1. Indian Bollywood Dance.

2. Indian Folk Dance.

3. Trumpet Solo.

4. Hotuba.

5. Shairi Solo.

6. Kisii Folk Dance.

7. Luo Choral (Boys).

8. Pre-school Solo Set Piece.

At the national stage, the performances were commendable, earning the school recognition and awards in several items. The notable achievements were as follows:

• Indian Folk Dance emerged as the National Champion, bringing a trophy and a pride to the school with its outstanding presentation.

• Trumpet Solo also clinched the Champion’s position, confirming the school’s excellence in instrumental music.

• Pre-school Solo Set Piece attained Position 2, a remarkable performance at the national level.

• Indian Bollywood Dance ranked Position 4, a commendable effort against stiff competition.

The rest of the items — Hotuba, Shairi Solo, Kisii Folk Dance, and Luo Choral (Boys) — also performed impressively, reflecting high standards of training, discipline, and creativity, even though they did not secure top positions.

Overall, the school’s participation in the 2025 Kenya Music Festival was highly successful, demonstrating not only cultural diversity but also artistic excellence. The victories achieved will serve as motivation to nurture more talent and aim for greater success in future festivals.
