The School Transport System supports transport to and from school for DCPS pupils. The system is operated by a team of qualified drivers. However, many more students travel to and from school by foot, personal vehicles and private transporters.
The school bus fleet maintenance is performed on regular basis thus decreasing chances of breakdowns while increasing efficiency. All buses are inspected once a year by state licensed inspectors and the drivers have good driving records.
The safety and welfare of the students using the school buses is our priority and all vehicles used by the school to transport the students are maintained in such condition as to provide safe and efficient transport service with minimum delay and disruptions due to mechanical failures.
Safety in our buses go hand in hand with good discipline from the students.
